The Forward House was built in 1905 for John Forward Sr., Mayor of San Diego. In 1998, John Olbrich purchased and restored this dilapidated mansion and began to decorate for the season, then every year since. Every year since, it comes alive with an extensive lighting display with holiday music. ( Just think 'Griswalds' from the movie ����Christmas Vacation���� with Chevy Chase).
